SGARES serves the southern part of Grafton County, New Hampshire, which includes the communities of Canaan, Dorchester, Enfield, Etna, Grafton, Groton, Hanover, Lebanon, Lyme, Orange, and West Lebanon. We are part of the New Hampshire Amateur Radio Emergency Service (NH ARES). The Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) consists of licensed amateurs who have voluntarily registered their qualifications and equipment for communications duty in the public service when disaster strikes. As part of our training, we also provide communications for local community events.
